About Lessons

When you take lessons at Rose Gate Farm, you will develop horsemanship skills and knowledge that can be applied to all disciplines of riding. Programs are personalized to meet the goals of each individual student. Students have the opportunity to learn about horse care, ground work, and riding.

You do not need to have a horse to take lessons. Rose Gate Farm has a variety of horses to meet the needs of our students. If you have a horse or are interested in purchasing a horse, Pete also offers personalized training programs for a few select clients at a time.

Students who are interested are encouraged to perform outside the home arena at English and/or Western Pleasure horse shows. If you are interested in going to shows for other disciplines, contact us to discuss options for custom programs. We strive to teach our riders to be true equestrians and are open to creating a program that accommodates your goals.
